In order to provide a safe experience for all participants and volunteers, we have created a process for managing severe weather in conjunction with the Tutu Run. Weather forecasts are tracked before the event for snow, freezing/heavy rain, high winds and extreme cold. If there is a possibility of threatening weather, information will be posted here on the Greater Kalamazoo Girls on the Run web site. The event will go on in light rain or snow. Layer your clothing appropriately for low temperatures!
Tutu prizes are awarded in 9 categories: Best Overall Tutu, Best Male Tutu, Best Female Tutu, Biggest Tutu, Best Group Tutu, Best Couples Tutu, Best Kids Tutu, Fastest Tutu, and Best Dog in a Tutu!
Want to be a part of the fun, but don't want to run? Please consider a volunteer role at the Tutu Run! We have many opportunities leading up to and on the day of the event. Individuals and groups are invited to be a part of our volunteer team!
