Volunteer with Girls On The Run

Each year we rely on hundreds of volunteers to breathe life into our programs from start to finish.  There are many ways to become involved!  Greater Kalamazoo Girls on the Run seeks a diverse group of volunteers and does not discriminate against volunteers on the basis of ethnicity, race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, economic circumstance, physical and mental abilities and characteristics, or philosophy.

If you would like to stay updated on any of our volunteer opportunities, please complete our brief volunteer registration. If you have any questions, please email Andrea at andrea@girlsontherunkazoo.org.

Coaches & Assistant Coaches

At each program location, volunteer coaches work together to deliver Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole curriculum, twice a week for 90 minutes to groups of 8-15 girls. Coaches are not required to be runners, they simply must be passionate about the mission of Girls on the Run, committed to working with a group of girls throughout the 10-week season and able to bring energy and joy to each practice.
