Here are some tips we’d ask you to relay to your participant before arriving at the 5k.
The safety of our girls and all participants at the Girls on the Run 5k always is our first priority. We have a thorough safety plan in place for the event. A detailed map will be posted closer to the event which will provide a good snapshot of where our designated safety marshals, first aid volunteers and water/aid stations will be positioned along the 3.1 miles. Girls on the Run volunteers will line the course and our volunteer coaches are all First Aid and CPR certified and will participate in the run/walk alongside the girls.
TRAFFIC ADVISORY DUE TO CLOSURES: Please be aware that traffic will be rerouted due to our event course for the 5k to ensure the safety of our participants. PLAN AHEAD! As we get closer to the event date you may download or view a full list and details of the closures.
